1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Stack Almanac (the “Service”), including the website at stackalmanac.com and the application at app.stackalmanac.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Stack Almanac is a supplement advisory platform that provides AI-powered recommendations, supplement logging, personal correlation analysis, and community features. The Service is provided on a free tier with optional paid subscriptions.

3. Not medical advice

Stack Almanac is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. The Almanac Advisor, correlation engine, and all recommendations are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement protocol.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided by the Service. You use the Service and act on any recommendations at your own risk.

4. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • One account per person. Automated or bot accounts are not permitted.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Stack Almanac offers free and paid subscription tiers:

  • Free tier: 5 AI advisor messages per day, basic features.
  • Pro tier: Enhanced features at the published monthly price. Every new account receives a 21-day Pro trial at no cost.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time from the Account section of the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service by automated means
  • Upload harmful content, malware, or spam to the community features
  • Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

7. Community content

If you publish stacks or other content to the community, you grant Stack Almanac a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the Service. You retain ownership of your content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is reported by other users.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code, branding, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Stack Almanac and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stack Almanac shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account section of the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
